Description
Crispy air-fried apple wedges coated in cinnamon sugar, served with a luscious caramel whipped cream dipping sauce. A quick and cozy dessert perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
3 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), sliced into wedges
1 tablespoon melted butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons caramel sauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: extra caramel drizzle
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, toss apple wedges with melted butter.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl, then coat apple wedges evenly.
Arrange wedges in a single layer in air fryer basket.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender and slightly crisp.
In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Fold in caramel sauce and vanilla until combined.
Serve warm apple wedges with the caramel whipped cream dip and optional caramel drizzle.
Notes
Use tart apples like Granny Smith for a contrast with the sweet dip. Add chopped nuts for extra crunch. Chill the dip slightly before serving for best texture.
