Description

Make flexible and translucent bioplastic suncatchers using glycerin, cornstarch, vinegar, and water. Add color and creativity for stunning eco-friendly art.

 


Ingredients

– 1/2 cup cornstarch

– 1/2 cup water

– 1 tablespoon vinegar

– 1 tablespoon glycerin

– Food coloring (optional)

– Wax paper or silicone mat

– Spoon or craft stick

– Molds or cookie cutters (optional)


Instructions

 

1. Mix cornstarch, water, vinegar, and glycerin in a saucepan.

2. Heat on medium, stirring until thickened (5–7 minutes).

3. Add food coloring and mix well.

4. Pour onto wax paper or into molds, then spread evenly.

5. Let dry for 24–48 hours; flip halfway through.

6. Peel off and cut into desired shapes once firm.

7. Punch a hole and hang in sunlight for display.

Notes

Use cookie cutters for themed shapes or add glitter/flowers before drying for extra flair.
