Description
A refreshing detox drink made with lemon, lime, cucumber, ginger, and mint that helps reduce bloating and promotes hydration.
Ingredients
– 1/2 sliced lemon
– 1/2 lime juice
– 1 sliced cucumber
– 1 tablespoon of ginger (freshly grated or sliced)
– A handful of mint leaves
– 6 cups of water
Instructions
- – Wash all produce thoroughly under running water.
- Â – Slice half a lemon into thin rounds.
- Â – Juice half of a lime and set the juice aside.
- Â – Slice the cucumber thinly.
- Â – Peel and grate or thinly slice 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger.
- Â – Place the lemon slices, lime juice, cucumber slices, and ginger into a large pitcher.
- Â – Add a handful of fresh mint leaves.
- Â – Pour 6 cups of cold water into the pitcher over the ingredients.
- Â – Stir gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- Â – Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator. Let it infuse for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, for best results.
- Â – Serve chilled. You may strain it before drinking if preferred.
Notes
Best enjoyed within 24 to 48 hours. Adjust ingredients to suit your taste.
