Ingredients
Brown paper lunch bags
Dark brown and light brown construction paper
White paper for eyes
Black marker or crayon
Googly eyes (optional)
Red, green, yellow paint (for apple stamping)
Apple halves (used as stamps)
Green paper for leaves
Glue stick or white glue
Scissors
Clothespins or tape (for display)
Instructions
Take a brown paper lunch bag and keep it flat to form the hedgehog body.
Cut a rectangle of dark brown construction paper wider than the bag and trim zigzag spikes along the edges.
Glue the bag centered on the spiky rectangle.
Add eyes using white circles or googly eyes and draw or glue on a nose and smile.
Stamp apples using halved apples dipped in paint. Let dry, then add drawn details like seeds or worms.
Cut out the apple stamps and glue them to the bottom of the bag.
Cut and glue small green leaves around the apple or bag.
Use clothespins and string to display your finished hedgehogs.
