Description

These chewy, chocolatey no-bake cookies are a Canadian classic. Made with sweetened condensed milk, graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and chocolate chips, Moose Farts are a fun and rich treat that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 can sweetened condensed milk (300 ml in Canada, 14 oz in the US)

1/4 cup melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups dried coconut (fine or medium cut)

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, plus extra for rolling

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Add the graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and chocolate chips. Stir thoroughly.

Refrigerate the mixture for about an hour to firm up.

Roll into 1 1/4-inch balls.

Coat each ball with extra graham cracker crumbs.

Place on a baking sheet and chill until firm.

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

For added texture, try mixing in chopped nuts or using white chocolate chips.

Smaller balls are best, as these are very rich.

Great for holidays or as a make-ahead treat!
