Description
All the cozy flavor of banana bread in cookie form — soft, golden, and ready in minutes with just a few pantry staples!
Ingredients
1 ripe banana, mashed
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup melted butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder (optional)
Pinch of salt
Optional: ¼ tsp cinnamon or ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mash banana in a bowl and mix in sugar and melted butter.
Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder (if using) until just combined.
Add cinnamon or vanilla extract if desired.
Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden at the edges. Cool before serving.
Notes
Add chocolate chips or nuts for variety. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
